Please note that it is imperative to arrange for a designated driver who can transport you after taking the oral sedation pill(s). It is strictly advised not to operate any motor vehicle or machinery following the consumption of this medication.

If you experience continued bleeding within the first 24 hours after your implant placement, please contact the clinic. An effective home remedy to aid clotting and stop bleeding is the use of tea bags. Simply dampen a regular tea bag, remove excess water, and apply it to the extraction site(s). The tanic acid in the tea leaves will assist in clotting. If necessary, multiple tea bags can be used, and remember to replace them as they become saturated with blood. Repeat this process as needed.

While experiences will vary, there could be some discomfort and possibly swelling after your procedure. Many patients report very little discomfort after their procedure. You will be prescribed pain medication to help alleviate any discomfort.

At the moment, we do not provide this particular implant. Although titanium implants have a proven track record of success over many years, zirconia implants are relatively new in the market, and their long-term success is still uncertain. Our priority is to ensure the highest level of success, predictability, and long-term outcomes for our patients. Therefore, we have decided not to offer zirconia implants at this time.

Although titanium dental implants have a success rate exceeding 95%, it is important to acknowledge the possibility of failure. Several factors can contribute to implant failure, including failure to integrate into the bone, smoking, and diabetes. However, if an implant fails within the first year, your dentist will replace it at no cost to you.
