Dr. Arya Dadashzadeh
DDSDr. Arya has been around dentistry for the majority of his life- starting as a dental assistant in high school as well as having a mother who is a practicing dentist. He completed his undergraduate studies at UCSD, dental program at University of the Pacific, Advanced education in general dentistry through NYU Langone. He dabbled in public health as well as attended dental residents prior to finding his place in private practice. He likes to spend his time off at sherwoods or attempting to hike with his son and wife.

Dr. Jong Kim
DMDDr. Kim had attended Tufts University for dental and had a practice on the east coast before he fell in love with the island life. Before moving to Hawai’i, he had also spent some time living in and providing dental care in Guam. He is a child at heart and spends his free time with his wife exploring Honolulu.

Dr. Camden Tokunaga
DDSHaving grown up with both parents as dentists, and therefore spending lots of time in the office, Dr. Camden was determined to explore and find his passions elsewhere. While he was going to school on the mainland, he found himself missing dental and applied for dental school at UMKC, despite himself. He likes to work with his hands and make a difference. Currently, he is splitting his time working with his family. He doesn’t have free time, but he makes time to do all the things, like going on mission trips in third world countries. We have a very sweet one on our hands!

Master Dental Lab TechnicianDarron is from Cape Town and has worked as a Dental Technologist since 1998. His strengths include in smile design, esthetic cases, TMJ treatment and Bite rebuilding, and has a serious passion for implantology and hybrid treatments. He is passionate about his craft and is a continual student of the profession. In his free time, you can find him spending time with his family or surfing off some steam!
Bianca G.
Professional relationsBianca has a very strong work ethic and sensitive attention to detail, specifically being able to recognize, consider, and address the patient’s needs, as well as the team’s needs. It’s like having a hotel concierge, patient relations professional, and HR all in one! In addition to her 50-hour work weeks, she uses her personal time to shop for decorations for birthdays and holidays and showers. We can count on her to take care of the team as she continually makes us all feel so special.

RDH / OperationsHa means “tooth” in Japanese, “breath of life” in Hawaiian, and “calm” in Vietnamese. She tries to encompass all these nominative determinism characteristics into your one-hour visits — cleaning your teeth as she’s near your face, in your breathing space, and all in a calm manner. She has been with the team since 2015 as a part-timer, and since 2018 as a full timer. From 2016 to 2018, she was temping at 20+ offices so she has been able to apply what all the great offices have to Kaizen Dental.

RDHKira has been with the team since graduating in 2017, going onto her sixth year! She loves listening to her patients and making them feel comfortable. It is easy to look forward to seeing her, so this in turn keeps all our patients healthy! Although she may enjoy cleaning teeth all day long, she also loves to travel and hike in her free time. Some of this travel is done during her commute into downtown daily from Kapolei, but this is likely her least favorite form of it. 😛
Kacy I.
DA/Lab TechKacy has been with the team since 2013. She really enjoys working with Dr. Muraoka because he’s always looking for new tech dentistry which keeps things interesting around her. She does everything with tenacity. She and Dr. M had worked together in Mililani, and then in downtown. Before she starts her day working her tail off in the lab, you can find her either surfing at the beach or exercising. Afterwards, she’ll likely be recharging by exploring the island scene with her husband, or kids, or parents, or even a combination of all.
Marvalee G.
DAThe mama of the team, she likes to take care while also getting into mischievous shenanigans with the staff, all while keeping it super professional. Marv has been with Dr. Eric Muraoka since 2014, but had been with the practice prior to him for over a decade. She likes working with him because she can learn new things in the dental industry. She likes that he cares for his patients and that he is very pleasant to work with. On her days off, she loves to go on long walks and go to hula practice. She also loves to cook and sew.

DAJared is the life of the party and has been with the team since 2021. He brings with him six years of surgical experience and a personality that never ceases to make your laughs echo from his operatory. He’s the glue that ties the team together with his positivity and his affinity for helping everyone out. Hailing from Boston, you could never tell since his local kine accent overpowers it now. Talk to him about anything because he sooo loves the island!
Elena H.
DAElena has been with the team since 2021. She brings over a decade of clinical dental experience. She took a few years away from the dental office to work a cushy job in a dental insurance company claims department before returning to the dental office, realizing she missed the patient interactions. Many patients love the care and warmth she puts into their visits. When not at work, she can be found helping out at her families’ local owned restaurants and hanging with her huge family.
Selena C.
DASelena is the baby of the team and had just joined us this year. She is very sweet and likes to show her love by hanging around you. She makes you feel hilarious as a byproduct of being herself, and in turn makes patients feel comfortable in the chair. When not at work, she likes to spend time with her family.
